So you guys know how much of a massive fan I am of eyebrows. I think they can be so beautiful and a real defining feature of a look and personality. The model Cara Delevigne has the most enviable eyebrows, and lucky for her they are completely full and natural (see pic!) But if you're like me, then you might need that little extra push to get your eyebrows looking even half as good as hers! I spend quite a lot of time doing my brows for I think they can completely transform your face and be a key part to getting you looking your best, this means I am always on the hunt for a good brow product. I am a big fan of a simple powder and angle brush combination, and also my trusty Tom Ford waxy brow sculptor, however - as you might have seen in my recent video - I have found a new product that I love for brows, Benefit Brow Zings.
Essentially, this little brow saver in a box is formed of two elements - a lighter powder, and a darker waxy formula. They come in three shades (light, medium, dark) and I'm pretty sure there is a shade for everyone to work with. Along with the two products, you get a couple of shaping brushes, one for application and one for blending, which I wouldn't use) and also a really tiny pair of tweezers which are actually really good. So put all together you have a box fit for brow perfection!
The way I use it is to take an angle brush (MAC 266 for example), and start by using the wax to create your desired brow shape and definition, then, using the same brush, work some of the powder along the brow shape you have created as this will set the wax shape in place. You may have noticed that I used it the other way round in my Christmas make-up tutorial, but that way just worked for me on the day so however you feel you want to use it is fine! The brilliant thing about this product, which is thanks to the wax, is that it lasts. The problem with using powder only is that if you were in a really hot environment then the powder can be prone to smudging which leads to you losing the shape of your brows, the wax however really locks in the shape and keeps your brows in place whatever the weather!
Hi Tanya! I love Brow Zings and had literally just used it when I saw your post so quite enjoyed that it has earned your approval! X Emma

Lovely post as always, Tan, love that you're using your blog more frequently now :)
I love Cara's eyebrows and had quite full and natural ones too, although a brow specialist took way too much off them last time and they've been suffering ever since. I've been looking to find a good brow set to have in my kit and I might have to try Benefits out as I love a lot of their products but haven't used this!
Glad you had a lovely christmas,
Sammie xx

I've not tried it yet but it looks and sounds very like a similar product from Elf's studio line. I want to try it now to see if that's a dupe for the benefit one. Xxxx

Hi Tanya,
I have been using the benefit brow zing for years now and it has been a good product especially when applied over already tinted brows just to fill in the gaps but for my un-tinted fair brows it looks kinda of cakey and too fake.
On the down side the packaging never lasts very long and breaks apart at the hinges and the brushes also end up breaking in two.
I am on the hunt for a new brow product and may try the bare minerals powder next as I love natural products. have you tried this Tanya or have any other suggestions for me?
I have started a new blog I would love it if you could check it out and offer me any pearls of wisdom. I am currently epic failing and have no subscribers or comments and not sure what I'm doing wrong, help! I have no friends which are bloggers to ask and not sure how to connect with other bloggers.

I have owned this product since about 6 months and I really almost hate it product because it is just so overpriced! The elf brow kit is exactly the same for a fraction of the price that benefit charges. The tools that come with it are cheap and crappy and non-useable and the wax creases after 2-3 hours, making me look like I smudged dirt in my brows. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who would ask me about it because there are much CHEAPER products out there that do a better job. Just buy an ashy-brown eyeshadow and a brow gel and you're good to go.

This looks like an interesting product. I have always had pretty thick brows but they dont have much shape to them. Could you do a video all about shaping them and then how to maintain them as you do with filling them in every day? I have seen many videos like that but I feel like I am missing something because mine always look so bad!

Urban Decay do a similar brow pot which is fab and lasts all day as well - it also comes with a brush and tweezers as well as the wax, however it comes with 2 different shades for the eyebrow which in my opinion gives it the edge as you can mix up between a strong or a soft brow.
