There are soooo many of these dusts around, the market is totally saturated with them at the moment! There is good reason for it too, because in theory they should be every volume lovers dream. Some of them fail to live up to the hype but this new one from L'Oreal is just brilliant!
Out of all the dusts I've used, this one delivers the most volume that actually lasts. Once sprinkled and massaged into my hair, my hair's volume is instantly boosted and the consistency and texture of the dust means it holds it in place. I generally directly scatter the dust along my parting and then under the hair on the scalp too and then give it a really good rub and massage to amplify volume, but you can also put it in to the palm of your hands first and work all over the hair as well. The great thing about the L'Oreal dusts is that them come in 'forces', if you are a big volume person like me then you would go for the highest force - 3 - to get the most amount of volume but you can chose from lower numbers too if your hair just needs that extra umph!
Of course like all these dusts it does leave a slight sticky feeling to the hair, particularly if just applying it directly to the roots but this is not visible at all and I like to think of it as locking all that volume in!
What do you guys think? You can get yours on offer here for £11.05!
Great review, I might have to invest in some. Though I would've loved to have seen some before and after pictures :D

This sounds great, will definitely have to try it! Thanks for the review! :) ♥
Hmm... doesn't this basically do the same thing as dry shampoo or does it provide more volume? I guess I'll have to try this for myself and see! Thanks for the review Tanya :) And congrats on being an auntie again!

I actually haven't heard of dusts before (trying hard not to walk into beauty shops to save money). I might have to invest in this one though, even if I hate having sticky hair. Mine is just flat and getting any kind of volume in it means lots of effort. Does it work for all hair types (like really fine hair)? Thanks for your honesty. I really trust your opinion Tanya. xxx

Hi Tan, I so love your blog its beyond possible to describe. You make amazing posts, videos, photos, and have such a loveable personality. What strikes me the most is how humble and cute you are. Dont wanna sound weird, I am just expressing myself hehe. I went trough a hard period, and during that time, all I wanted to look at was your blog, Zoella blog and Glam and Glitter blog and The Blonde Salad. I am sure you know who the other girls are as well, as their blogs are also huge. Really wanted to say thanks for all you do for us. Means a lot! Nat
